Alaska Needs to Drill For More Oil — It’s All the Fault of Climate Change

According to the BBC, Alaska Governor Bill Walker has concluded that more drilling for oil is necessary in order for Alaska to have the funds necessary to pay to mitigate the costs of climate change in Alaska.  Such costs include $100 million to relocate the residents of Kivalina.

Words fail me.

  1. To demonstrate the idiocy of the human race, I’d say Gov. Walker has created the first man-made tipping point!!
    As he drills for more oil to pay for climate catastrophe, it just gets worse, so drill some more for more dough, so it……………
    And where in any of this is the issue of ‘climate justice’ for the indigenous peoples whose grip on the land grows more tenuous by the day.
